Dogs
Most dogs travel in a secured crate with their own blanket, or clipped in with a harness if that’s what they know. Tell us their size, how they handle being lifted and whether they like company or prefer a quiet corner.

Pet transport from Cedar Vale, DC
A door-to-door trip from your home to anywhere nearby, with a named person waiting at the other end.
From Cedar Vale, local trips often go to relatives or sitters across the neighborhood. Tell us both addresses and who will meet your pet.
Local pet transport is our everyday journey. We collect your dog or cat from your door, settle them into their carrier or a secured crate, and take them straight to the address you give us. At the other end we hand them to the person you named, along with their bag and any notes.
It suits all sorts of trips: to a friend or family member who’s looking after them, to a new home across the neighborhood, or to anywhere else that doesn’t fit our appointment or return journeys. If you’re not sure which journey you need, start here and we’ll help you choose.
Every trip is planned with you before the day. We agree a pickup time, check both addresses and note how your pet usually travels, so the people at both ends know exactly what’s happening.

A few details help us plan a calm trip and a clear handover. Have these ready when you get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
From the first message to the moment they’re handed over, here’s what a local pet transport looks like with us.
Call us and we’ll talk through the date, both addresses and who will meet them.

Most dogs travel in a secured crate with their own blanket, or clipped in with a harness if that’s what they know. Tell us their size, how they handle being lifted and whether they like company or prefer a quiet corner.
Cats travel in their own carrier, which stays closed for the whole trip. Tell us whether they prefer the carrier covered, and how they react to being picked up, so we can keep the handover calm at both ends.
Two pets from one home? Two pets from the same home can usually travel on the same trip. Tell us if they settle better side by side or apart, and we’ll plan their travel spaces around that.
Most homes in Cedar Vale have a front garden or a gate. Let us know if your gate is latched, whether your dog can be in the front garden during the handover, and where the best place to stop is.
Gate and door codes stay with you. We’ll call when we arrive if anything is unclear.
Tell us how your gate opens and whether we should meet you at the gate or the front door.
If there’s room on your driveway, let us know. Otherwise we’ll stop on the street as close to your gate as we can.
If two pets are traveling, have both ready by the door and tell us who goes in first.
We check the bag and notes with you, settle your pet in, and confirm who will meet them at the other end.
We hand your pet to the person you named. If someone different is there, we’ll call you before we hand them over.
