Dogs
Most dogs travel in a secured crate with their own blanket, or clipped in with a harness if that’s what they know. Tell us their size, how they handle being lifted and whether they like company or prefer a quiet corner.

Pet transport from Northbridge, DC
A door-to-door trip from your home to anywhere nearby, with a named person waiting at the other end.
From Northbridge, local trips start almost on our doorstep. Tell us the address they’re going to and who will meet them, and we’ll plan a pickup time that suits you.
Local pet transport is our everyday journey. We collect your dog or cat from your door, settle them into their carrier or a secured crate, and take them straight to the address you give us. At the other end we hand them to the person you named, along with their bag and any notes.
It suits all sorts of trips: to a friend or family member who’s looking after them, to a new home across the neighborhood, or to anywhere else that doesn’t fit our appointment or return journeys. If you’re not sure which journey you need, start here and we’ll help you choose.
Every trip is planned with you before the day. We agree a pickup time, check both addresses and note how your pet usually travels, so the people at both ends know exactly what’s happening.

A few details help us plan a calm trip and a clear handover. Have these ready when you get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
From the first message to the moment they’re handed over, here’s what a local pet transport looks like with us.
Call us and we’ll talk through the date, both addresses and who will meet them.
Call (202) 555-0107Before the day
You tell us where we collect from, where they’re going and who will meet them at each end.
At your door
We meet your pet, take their bag and notes, and settle them into their carrier or crate.
On the way
A calm, direct ride in their secured travel space with their familiar blanket.
At the other end
We hand them to the person you named and pass on their bag and anything you asked us to share.
Most dogs travel in a secured crate with their own blanket, or clipped in with a harness if that’s what they know. Tell us their size, how they handle being lifted and whether they like company or prefer a quiet corner.
Cats travel in their own carrier, which stays closed for the whole trip. Tell us whether they prefer the carrier covered, and how they react to being picked up, so we can keep the handover calm at both ends.
Two pets from one home? Two pets from the same home can usually travel on the same trip. Tell us if they settle better side by side or apart, and we’ll plan their travel spaces around that.
Northbridge is a mix of apartment buildings around the station and terraced streets further out. Apartment pickups often need a buzzer code or a meeting point in the lobby, so add that to your notes.
Gate and door codes stay with you. We’ll call when we arrive if anything is unclear.
Tell us your building entrance, which buzzer to press and whether we should meet you in the lobby or at your door.
Streets near the station get busy. Let us know if there’s a loading bay or a quieter side street close to your door.
If you’re on an upper floor without a lift, tell us so we can plan how to carry their crate or carrier safely.
We check the bag and notes with you, settle your pet in, and confirm who will meet them at the other end.
We hand your pet to the person you named. If someone different is there, we’ll call you before we hand them over.
We let you know they’ve arrived and that their bag and notes have been passed on.
If plans change on the day. If plans change on the day, call us as soon as you can. We can usually adjust the pickup time or update the contact at the other end. We never hand a pet to someone you haven’t named.
Tell us the pickup, the destination and who will meet them. We’ll plan the rest with you.
